Assessment centre design and facilitation

Assessment centres are increasingly used as a key element of the selection
process to identify candidates for positions at all levels within the work
environment, from graduate to board level appointments.

Why are more and more companies favouring this approach?
Assessment centres offer a more robust, thorough and fair approach to the selection process
They eliminate some of the potential for error that surrounds a process relying on interviews alone
Assessments can be fully tailored to assess the particular criteria for the role
By using MAC Resourcing’s Business Partners to deliver the assessment centre, the process is independent and unbiased
The candidate also benefits because they have the opportunity to present their skills, knowledge, potential and
experience over a number of exercises and over a longer period of time than the traditional selection process allows.
They will also receive a feedback report which is useful for their future development


Our team will often have been involved in the selection process
leading up to the assessment centre but otherwise our service includes:
Initial briefing discussion with HR and the hiring manager
Design of exercises and plan for the assessment day
Support with sourcing and booking of venue
Assessor briefing session
Full administration support including candidate communication and production of all materials
Facilitation of the assessment day including wash up meeting
Production of an individual feedback report for each candidate
