O Turkmenistan is a landlocked country in Central Asia, bordered
by Kazakhstan to the northwest, Uzbekistan to the north, east and
northeast, Afghanistan to the southeast, Iran to the south and
southwest and the Caspian Sea to the west.

Food
O Turkmen cuisine is one of the old but gold cuisines in
the history. The interesting part is that people still
cook the same way and holds on to it very tightly.
O Dograma chorba is a meat soup with an amazing
taste. It is eaten with small pieces of flatbread.
O There is a saying in Turkmen society: “Bread is the
head for everything,” and chorek reflects this belief.
O Gutap, meaning “half-moon,” is a kind of flatbreads
stuffed with beef or lamb and onions.
O And of course, just like other many Middle Asian
countries, “Palov” is also one of the famous and
delicious turkmen food.

not so many flights connecting it to the rest of the
world: the main entry points are Moscow, Istanbul,
Dubai and Almaty.
O You can fly to Turkey from Poland, and through
