audiences.
TV Drama

You will be shown a 4 min extract of a TV Drama,
four times.

You will have to comment on the mise- en-scene,
editing, sound, camera shots, angle and position.

You must explain how these techniques
contribute to an aspect of Representation that is
present in the extract.
Media Concepts:
       The Film Industry

The focus of this unit is the relationships
between institutions and audiences of the Film
Industry in Britain.

You must have lots of detailed, up to date, UK,
accurate examples of technological developments
within this field in Britain.
You have the case studies of Disney, Working
Title and Vertigo which encapsulate the different
operating levels of film within the UK.

The examiners want to see that you have an
understanding of the context of the British film
industry, its current state, and how, in the light
of new technology it may develop in the future.
Your exam paper will look
       like this.....
Revision

You need to ‘follow’ the blog and ensure that you
do as many practice essays as possible.

I will continue to post items on the blog if there
are any relevant developments.
