sistema educativo.

2011 Higher Education
2012 Recent Protests
Private institutions in all levels of education have become the majority
provider in Chile and public schools are seen as a last resort for parents to
enroll their children. …many academics agree that it creates a system
where social mobility through educational opportunities is decreased.
– Christain Bellei, 2012 (PhD Education, Harvard University)
Neo-liberal agenda espoused by Milton Friedman and the Chicago Boys
during the military regime proved to have failed many members of society
in Chile.

Conclusion
Education: Art and Media as tool to explore and encourage
Economic, Social and Cultural Rights
"We will not enjoy security without development, we will not
enjoy development without security, and we will not enjoy either
without respect for human rights."
(UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, 2012)
Solutions: Madhu Viswanathan and Martha Nussbaum.
*Articles found in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as
well as sustainable ideas and methods should be taught in
business curriculums internationally.
*Awareness of media effect on HR. * Is this adequate? Will
education translate to action for human rights awareness? Live
what we teach. Teach by example.
