Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs

2. Kimou Meyer aka Grotesk is a Swiss graphic
designer based in Brooklyn since 1999.
He describes his work as a clash between his
strict and minimal visual education, plastic bags
flying in the New York sky, bodega store fronts,
burnt cars, crooks, and hip-hop before 1994.
Specialized in streetwear, his work can be seen
on the following brands: IRAK NY, The Hun-
dreds, Alife, Sixpack, Goliath RF Harlem, 2K,
Uniqlo, Upper Playground, Fifty24SF, Spike Lee,

14. Steven Harrington lives and works in Los Ange-
les, CA. Aside from owning and operating Na-
tional Forest Design with fellow artist Justin
Krietemeyer, he still finds time to work on both
commissioned and self-inspired art projects of
his own. Influenced by images, fashion and
graphics discovered in Time Life Encyclopedias
from 1965-1972, thrift stores, and The Moody
Blues, his art might be termed contextual objec-
tivism. That is, he views each piece he creates
as a tangible object that is part and parcel of a
larger context; the object helps define the con-
text and the context helps define the object.
Whatever feel or meaning the observer takes
away from the piece belongs to the observer.
Nothing is shoved down his or her throat. Dis-
covery is the key. Some of his most recent proj-
ects include a four board series for Burton snow-
boards, contributions to the French clothing line
Sixpack, and a series of silkscreen prints based
on the idea of “community.” He has exhibited
work in Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, San
Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, Montreal,
Tokyo, Melbourne and Barcelona.
