stands with his left foot forward and right
leg slightly bent, his entire muscular
system is exposed, and his right hand is
up and stretching out in an almost
therapeutic motion.

Neoclassical architecture from the
nineteenth century. Its most known
architect is one of America's early
architects, William Thornton
(1759-1828).
13. The Petit Trianon is a Neoclassical
style château in Versailles, France,
within the grounds of the Palace of
Versailles. The King's first architect,
Ange-Jacques Gabriel (1698-1782),
designed a pavilion large enough for
him and part of his entourage to
dwell in.
