As the layout of the area is tight to fit for a standard
installation of fixed bridge, the idea of dynamic bridge
became handy, the concept is like “match boxes”, where
the bridge folds itself towards the sides .
As the bridge gets slimmer in the middle as the
composing boxes gets smaller to fit in each other while
the supporting wires don’t have any structure influence
just as a guide on the axis of boxes folding.
Using flow design program
to simulate the impact of
the cumulative wind
direction on the bridge side

Mohamed Ibrahim nero9@fb
As a sustainable movement in re-habitation and reusing of
old and historical buildings the following example, case of
study, has been studied on the layout scale, interior,
structure” Champillion Palace”, or “ Saeed Haleem Basha
Palace”.
As shown in the illustrations and 3D model the palace is
located in the middle of tall residential buildings which makes
it harder to notice from the main streets instead using some
landmarks with late baroque style will suffice the purpose.
The palace is planned to be use as cultural exchange Centre
and executing workshops and meetings with library
concerning the era of the Champillion.

Adaptive Reuse Of Champillion Palace AUD
MohamedIbrahim

Using pneumatic structure system to
cover the palace with, such a transparent
material and light weighted tends to be
more sustainable in repairing and
conserving the ecosystem within making
it more looks like “micro-sphere” ,so the
palace wont be exposed to whatever
more danger of gas toxics and vapor and
radiations , forming such a positive
environment for creativity and
production in such a crowd area, middle
of Cairo, it used to be used as a school in
the past and could keeping processing
the same function after some renovation
and structural repairings.
