12. • GENERAL SPECIFICATION
• The Planning has been done without disturbing the old grid of road
network in order to maintain the sanctity of the fair.
• The whole structure is placed on a plinth of 150mm from the ground
which made up of stone.
• The Structure is made with the help of wooden stud frame
(80mm×80mm), covered with 10mm thick wooden panels on the inner
and outer side.
• The Pitched roof is supported by a system of wooden trusses covered
with metal corrugated sheets.
• Smaller shops/stalls are provided with a 1000mm high counter while
larger shops and stalls like showroom and restaurants are provided
with openings.
• All the shops and showrooms are facing the road while the inner side
of the unit is used as the service area and for accommodation of the
stall and showroom owners.
• Each unit is provided with several rooms and a set of male and female
toilets for the accommodation of the shop and stall owners.
• Store room are also provided in the service area which can be
approached by the trucks for loading and unloading.
