Project Peduli - Pantai Timur (Majulah Community)Khairu Rejal
Peduli means ‘care and concern’ in Malay.
Project Peduli is a social initiative unit under Majulah Community to address immediate humanitarian or social needs within Singapore, and Asia.
Majulah Community aims to uniquely draw the attention of certain need areas to a larger concerned audience and direct to an immediate call to action. This call to action often comes in the form of crowd-sourcing or crowd-funding projects which is not uncommon in the spirit of “gotong-royong” in this part of the world.
Majulah recently commissioned Project Peduli – Pantai Timur (“East Coat”) that aims to provide short and mid-term relief to the flood-affected victims in neighboring East Coast Malaysia.
In the initial phase of the project, Majulah successfully collected more than 10,000 Ziploc Bags or Packed Rations comprising of dry food items (i.e. instant noodels, canned food, biscuits, packed drinks, etc.) as part of a 18-tonne food supply delivered to the area of Temerloh, Pahang.
Projet Peduli garnered more than 300 volunteers who spent more than 3 days packing the food items into easily distributable ziplog bags.

We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
