and “improve humanity”
The new education,
is already starting to emerge
around the globe.
We don’t yet have
a fully-agreed-upon name
for this new education,
But I call it…
• ourselves
• our colleagues
• our parents
• our communities and leaders
What we need to do now is to convince
that this is the way to go
In essentials, unity.
In all else, liberty.
In all things charity.

The UNITY lies in the
overarching principle:
The ends of education
are to better our world
and improve humanity
The LIBERTY comes
in the many ways,
around the world,
that people will make that happen
The CHARITY comes
in the more positive
and more respectful way
we are starting to view
our newly-empowered kids
To find what works best
in each place and for each kid…
WE NEED TO
EXPERIMENT !

experiment
with MY kid!”
It would be
IRRESPONSIBLE of us
NOT to experiment...
because our kids
live in a…
NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN
CONTEXT
THAT IS
VERY DIFFERENT
…FROM THE WORLD IN WHICH
WE—TODAY’S ADULTS—GREW UP
…and we have yet to figure out
how to prepare kids
for that context!
So we must
all experiment together!
Our future kids need:
An education that more deeply
combines our academic and
accomplishment traditions
An education
that more deeply
integrates them into
helping their
local and global communities
Our future kids need
an education
that
EMPOWERS
THEM
FURTHER
with
• Independence and Self-confidence
• Self-knowledge and Applied Passion
• A strong sense of
how they fit into the future
TO BETTER
THEIR WORLD
And we need to help PARENTS
understand how to support these
newly-empowered kids
THE NEW EDUCATION
IS BETTER FOR OUR KIDS
because it provides them with
what they need for their future
THE NEW EDUCATION
IS BETTER FOR ALL OF US
because it liberates huge amounts of
unused potential to improve our
communities and our world
