Apple was founded in 1977 and released the Apple I computer. Steve Jobs left Apple in 1985 but returned in 1996 to help turn the company around. These mobile devices helped Apple make a comeback and become the most valuable company in the world by 2012, when Steve Jobs stepped down as CEO before passing away that year.
