Anton Sikharulidze was a renowned Russian figure skater from St. Petersburg who won Olympic gold in 2002 paired with Elena Berezhnaya. He was born in 1976 and began skating at a young age, winning junior world championships twice with partner Maria Petrova. Later with Berezhnaya, they won European and World Championships multiple times under coach Tamara Moskvina. After retiring, Sikharulidze toured with ice shows in the U.S. and later worked in sports broadcasting and politics in Russia.
