Alexander Chekurov is a blind athlete from Volgograd, Russia who represented his country in swimming at the Paralympic Games. As a child, he enjoyed sports like swimming, soccer, skiing, and chess, but went blind at a young age. Through optimism and training, he became a world champion swimmer, winning medals at the Paralympics and world championships.
