During school I taught myself to use a computer
I studied Information Technology, but when we had some free subjects, I was the weirdo who always chose sociology, anthropology or linguistics instead of economics. After university, I went travelling around the world and that has not stopped. I’ve lived in 5 countries and worked in many more. Starting in Australia.
Joke: We didn’t have kangaroos in our at home, but they were only a few kilometres away.
The first 5 years of my work were mainly on the technical side, such as programming and systems architecture. For the last decade I have focused on user experience.
I cover both the Design of user interfaces as well as research. Both are interesting, design has this wonderful creative and feasibility side, but I love asking questions and digging to get answers, so this is why research is my passion.
