In relation to corporate crime, the study of state crime is relatively limited. I believe this is because
the lack of international bodies to set the over–arching guidance of what crime is and when it has
taken place. In this paper, I will talk about state crimes such as trafficking, genocide, rape,
discrimination and victimization. I will also use the authors definition of state crime which defines
state crime victims as ''those individuals or groups of individuals who have experienced economic,
cultural, or physical harm, pain, exclusion, or exploitation because of tacit or explicit state actions or
policies which violate law or generally defined human rights '' (Kauzlarich et al., 2002). Many state
crimes are conducted via individuals or assigned representatives of the government, such as the head
of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). I will relate a unique case to each of the six principles

My initial impressions of the Middle East and Northern Africa are they are desolate, poor, and
primarily Muslim. Although I know there is an infrastructure in the cities that is not how I viewed

mind. When all you see on the news are war torn areas in these countries, the view you come out
with is skewed by what the media introduces you to. Many thoughts also run through ones' head

Desert Storm, one of the most successful military ops in military history. They went in and went

During the air war, Iraq lost a huge chunk of their air force. Totaling up to a loss of 234 aircrafts,
which 90 were destroyed during battle, 16 took by allied ground forces and an outstanding 122
retreated to Iran and the remaining 6 were lost with no combat seen.
The air force acted under all conditions, they took place in close contact to far and huge targets to
small individual targets. As the war continued they were beginning to use the air force to increase
the odds of the ground troops. They sent them after enemy tanks, artillery, and ground forces to be
sure that the ground missions were a success and not alway a fail. Desert Storm was also the debut

The UAE government are creating substantial opportunities for foreigners to invest and doing
business in the UAE. Tourism creates jobs in the tertiary sector, but also on the secondary and
primary sectors of the industry as well. This creates the multiplier effect, which proves how the
money spent by tourists circulates in the country's economy, from one hand to the other, therefore

economy for many years. The UAE is a well–developed country that provides a good level quality
of life and a high standard of living. "The country is ranked 12th out of 45 in the markets around the
world by expats as a destination to live and work" (Augustine, 2016). With the UAE having a high
rank, especially higher than above average it would be great for the foreigners to move into UAE to
have a good quality of life. The business within the country provides many job opportunities. The
UAE is considered an expat heaven due to the good job opportunities and the high standard of living
embedded within the community. The UAE can be known for starting a business and making a
