Making up OJT Hours 
 Rules for making up lost OJT hours: 
 Lost OJT due to illness or injury. 
 More than 174 hours in any period (6 months) must be 
made up. 
 More than 260 hours in any two adjacent periods must 
be made up. 
 More than 522 hours in a 3-year apprenticeship 
(Meter) must be made up. 
 More than 696 hours in a 4-year apprenticeship (Wire, 
CT, Hydro) must be made up. 
 Absences of lesser duration which affect the 
apprentice’s progress may extend the apprenticeship 
if deemed necessary by the JATC.

 Excused Absences: Illness/Emergencies

 1 Unexcused absence

Making up OJT Hours  Rules for making up lost OJT hours:  Lost OJT due to illness or injury.  More than 174 hours in any period (6 months) must be made up.  More than 260 hours in any two adjacent periods must be made up.  More than 522 hours in a 3-year apprenticeship (Meter) must be made up.  More than 696 hours in a 4-year apprenticeship (Wire, CT, Hydro) must be made up.  Absences of lesser duration which affect the apprentice’s progress may extend the apprenticeship if deemed necessary by the JATC. 09/11/14 http://pseweb/TrainingandProcedur1e6s/
