Anne of Cleves was born in Germany in 1515 and became the fourth wife of King Henry VIII of England in 1540. However, Henry found her unattractive and divorced her just six months later. Despite the short marriage, Anne was given several houses and a generous financial settlement by Henry. She lived in England for the rest of her life, remarrying and having more children, but maintaining a friendly relationship with Henry and his children. Anne died of cancer in 1557 at the age of 42.

3. Early Life
Anne of Cleves was born on September 22nd 1515,
in Dusseldorf, Germany. She was a very ugly woman,
she was the fourth wife of henry the 8th. They soon
divorced after the expensive wedding .Henry thought
she was a pretty woman until he met her for real life!
“she's as ugly as a horse” She died on July 16,
1557, in Chelsea Manor, London, England.

4. Her marriage
On 6th July 1540, Anne was asked to divorce.
She did so, and the marriage ended on 9th July
1540.
.She was given the title of the King's “beloved
sister”, and seven houses and palaces, including
Hever Castle and Richmond Palace.

5. After marriage
She was made his sister. He gave her tons of money
and property's .Elizabeth would visit him now and
then and was pretty close with Henrys kids. She came
to Mary's coronation. She also remarried and had 2
more children with her new husband. She didn’t even
love henry ,it was all about politics.

6. Death
she died of some type of
cancer at an early age of 42.
