Aardman was founded in 1972 as a low-budget project by Peter
Lord and David Sproxton, who wanted to realise their dream of
producing an animated motion picture. The partnership provided
animated sequences for the BBC series for deaf children Vision
On. After creating a segment called "Greeblies" (1975) using clay
animation, became what was the inspiration for creating Morph, a
simple clay character. Around the same time Lord and Sproxton
made their first foray into adult animation with the shorts Down
and Out and Confessions of a Foyer Girl, entries in the BBC's
Animated Conversations series using real-life conversations as
soundtracks. However, these two shorts were not actual Aardman
productions. Aardman also created the title sequence for The
Great Egg Race and supplied animation for the multiple award
winning music video of Peter Gabriel's song "Sledgehammer".
They produced the music video for the song "My Baby Just Cares
For Me" by Nina Simone in 1987.

 Ray Harryhausen may not be familiar to everyone but to
those who do know it, his name stands as a landmark in the
history of a genre and cinematic art, the art of dimensional
stop-motion animation. Ray made his name by developing
fantastic stories and creatures based on legends and
mythology and creating a unique genre of fantasy films
during the 1950s, 60s and 70s that took the movie making
world, and the public, by storm.
Ray Harryhausen stands as a beacon to today’s fantasy
filmmakers as the creator who inspired them and made the
impossible possible.

Walt Disney Animation Studios, headquartered at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California is an American animation studio
which creates animated feature films, short films, and television specials for The Walt Disney Company. Founded on October 16,
1923, it is a unit of The Walt Disney Studios. The studio has produced 53 feature films, from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in
1937 to Frozen in 2013.
Originally founded as Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio in 1923, and incorporated as Walt Disney Productions in 1929, the studiowas
exclusively dedicated to production of short films until expanding into feature production in 1934. In 1983, Walt Disney Productions
named their live-action film studio Walt Disney Pictures. During a corporate restructuring in 1986, Walt Disney Productions was
renamed The Walt Disney Company and the animation division, renamed Walt Disney Feature Animation, became a subsidiary of its
film division, The Walt Disney Studios. In 2006, Walt Disney Feature Animation took on its current name of Walt Disney Animation
Studios when it was folded under The Walt Disney Studios alongside Pixar Animation Studios, which was acquired by Disney in the
same year.
For much of its existence, the studio was recognized as the premier American animation studio; it developed many of the techniques,
concepts, and principles which became standard practices of traditional animation. The studio also pioneered the art of
storyboarding, which is now a standard technique used in both animated and live-action filmmaking.[10] The studio's catalog of
animated features are among Disney's most notable assets, and the stars of its animated shorts—Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy,
and Pluto—have gone on to become recognizable figures in popular culture, as well as becoming mascots for The Walt Disney
Company as a whole.
