• Use knowledge of
  alphabetical order by first
  letter
WARM UP- GUESSING GAME
• Write on the board the
  following numbers: 1, 14 ,
  9 , 13 , 1, 12 , a n d 19 .
  Ask Ss to change the number
  for the corresponding letter of
  the alphabet. Explain that
  each number shows the
PRE-ACTIVITY

• Call out any letter and ask
  Ss to say names of animals
  that start with the letter.
  Repeat this exercise as
  much as you think is
  necessary.
• Check the spelling.

• Ss must spell the words on

CLOSING ACTIVITY- MIMIC
• For this mimic game, use flashcards of
  pictures of animals that you have just shown to
  your Ss on the PPP.
• Have one of your Ss pick out a flashcard and
  impersonate the animal shown on the flashcard
  to their classmates (only mimic).
• This activity can be done in teams or groups
  and every Student can do mimic for his/her
  team. You can keep the score on the board.
