The artic fox has thick fur that changes color between winter and summer as camouflage. It eats small animals and fish. Females typically have litters of 5-8 babies, but can have up to 25. One of its predators is the polar bear.

THE ARTIC HARE
Theartic hare or polar
rabbit was thick fur to
keep it warm. In winter its
fur is white so you can´t
see it in the snow. In the
summer its head and body
turn brown so it blends in
the mud and rocks. Like
ordinary rabbits, it is a
herbivore. Its biggest
enemy is the artic wolf.

THE HARP SEAL
Theharp seal has a silvery-
grey and pure black
eyes. It has very good
eyesight. Harp seals like
swimming in the ocean
and spend little time on
land. They are very
social animals. Adult
females have one baby,
or pup, every year. Harp
seals live from about
twenty years.

THE ARTIC FOX
Likethe artic hare, the artic
fox has thick fur to
protect it from the cold.
Its fur is white in the
winter and brown in the
summer. The artic fox is
carnivorous and eats
small animals. It also
eats fish from under the
ice. When the female has
a littler, she normally
has between five and
eight babies, although
she can have as many as
twenty-five! One of its
enemies is the polar bear.
