INTRODUCTION OF ANDROID
Android is an operating system for mobile devices such as smart phones , tablets and
computers . It is developed by the open handset Alliance led by Google . It is built
on a Linux foundation . Google purchased the developer in 2005 . The unveiling of
the android distribution on november 5 , 2007 was announced with the founding
of the open handset alliance , a consortium of 84 hardware , software , and
telecommunication companies devoted to advancing open standards for mobile
devices.
ANDROID VERSION HISTORY
The version history of Android mobile operating system began with the release of
the android alpha in november 5, 2007 . The first commercial version of android
1.0 was developed in September 2008 .
