DuPage Forest Preserve District (Food & Beverage Department) 2014-2014
Interned as an event attendant and worked directly with guests. This entailed setting up the
buffet, ensuring we had optimal seating, and helping ensure we had the proper amount of food
and it was suitable to our guests. I would set up the buffet line, constantly checking in with
guests, and break down the buffet line. I also worked directly with my supervisor to learn
inventory, scheduling, and ordering.
Comfort Inn and Suites (shadowing) Fall Semester 2014
I have shadowed multiple positions at the Comfort Inn for a semester. I have learned some
managerial duties, the front desk, laundry, and maintenance. I worked with the night auditor
several times. I am confident with checking guests in and out of the facility.
Olive Garden (Host/ Server) 2011-Present
Greeted guests and sat them in tables or waiting areas. I handled a section of tables on my
own. This included taking orders, serving, and cleaning the area for the next guests to arrive. I
used my time effectively to ensure my customers were happy, as well as having my section
clean and taken care of.
Noodles & Company (Cook/ Ambassador) 2009-2011
I handled deliveries as they came through the door, as well as created inventory logs and
preparation lists. Managed kitchen operations for a high grossing, fast paced kitchen and
oversaw all cooks and staff for friendly and fast service.
Tony Steamers (Cashier/ Cook) 2006-2009
Accepted payment from customers and made change as necessary. I was in control of opening
and closing responsibilities. I prepared various foods for cooking and serving.
