- There were lots of different religions such as Taoism, Confucianism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hindus, Jews and Muslims. EtcThe main religions were Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism.Buddhism- It was brought to Thailand in the 1 A. D. They had monks or nuns in Buddhism and they also believed in God.Confucianism- Confucian was started by a man name Confucius. He developed some rules for behavior. Some of the rules about family behavior were that sons should obey their father, wives owned loyalty to their husbands and that children should obey their elders and everyone should believed their emperor.Taoism- Taoism was spread in China between 500 and 600 B.C. Taoism is based on a book Tao Te Ching written by Lao Tzu. Since then Lao Tzu was known as one of the Gods. - Buddhism is the most famous religion in China now a day. It was brought India to china in 1.A.D. from there it kept on getting stronger and stronger until it became the most famous religion. They believed that there life will go on after death and that they will need their goods in this life to be successful in their life after that. They also believe in gods and ancestors worships. They believe people suffer because they want things and they will only happy when they achieve it.
- People belief that their live will go on after death.They believe that they will need their goods in each years for their after live as well.They belief that they will needbronze vessel, weapons and jewelry in there after live as well..They will need special vessels because they will still need to worship their ancestors in their after live. They will need weapons to protect themselves and they will need jewelry because it will show how rich and how important they are in society.They have to worship their ancestors even after death but they also want to be worship as well.
- People worship their ancestors so that their ancestors could help them in their daily life. They believed that human can’t talk to Gods and that the only way to talk to them was to talk to their ancestors so their ancestors would tell Gods to give them good luck. They also looked for advices from them. They made sure that they make their ancestors happy so that they would help them so hunting is successful, the rain fells on time and that their daily events work out well.
- There are lots of different gods with different position. Some of the Gods are:Yu- huang (Sky god)Fie lian and Feng Popo( wind gods)Lei-kung, lei-zi (thunder gods)Heng O (moon Gods) Gong Gong (disastrous Flood)Kuan-Ti (Goddess of war)ChuJiang (death)These Gods all have different position to help people.
