Firstly, Madonna's Frozen, Cunningham uses elements of horror as it is dark and gloomy, this portrays negative ideas about love. Slow paced editing is used which also adds to the gloomy film of the video as well as allowing the artist to connect with the audience. There are also technical edits used such as when Madonna crashes to the ground and she becomes crows, this adds a subhuman effect. Additionally at the beginning of the video Madonna is floating on the beach. There is a range or camera angles however the most used is close ups which also help us the relate to the artist. In Come To Daddy there is also similar things used as there is a subhuman element to the video as the TV box appears to have a distorted face inside. As well as this there is also a dark gloomy sense, firstly in the lighting that Cunningham uses and secondly in the sense that the elderly woman is feeling fear and appears to be attacked. There is also focus on the faces as firstly, at the elderly woman face to show her fear which adds to the dark and gloomy feeling and secondly on the TV where the distorted face appears, adding to the subhuman effect.As well as the same face been used for the look alike children which also gives us fear. Technology has clearly been heavily used in the first few moments of the video as bright lights are used.

There is also a theme here of love as the robots begin to kiss, this can be said to have been incorporated in Madonna's video however there are very few concepts which refer to love in come to daddy. As well as this there is finally a feeling of darkness in this video too as dark lighting is used as well as the unfamiliarity of robots giving us fear.
