Graham: But now Emily have you gone a bit LA
Emily: Me
Graham: Yes (.) don’t you play golf now
Emily: Well (.) I’d I’ve I’ve played it sort of five times
Graham: That’s a lot
Emily: Does that make me an avid golfer
Graham: Yes (.) once would be enough
Emily: I quite like it I really like whizzing around on the cart with some beers in the back
Graham: Oh ok
Emily: That’s the fun part
Graham: Okay yeah (.) that sounds like fun (.) but now (.) very (.) this is very (.) I love how kind of
California this is (.) you swim with dolphins
Emily: No well I’ve taken up the hobby of scuba –diving (1.0) which I really (.) really enjoy (.) erm (.)
and so we went down I’ve been shark diving which was kind of amazing although I had a really close
encounter with a shark
Russell Brand: A little though (.) shark
Emily: It wasn’t (.) It was about 6 feet so I would
Russell Brand: Did it eat people
Emily: Well
Russell Brand: Was it that type
Emily: Well it wasn’t but it (.) why are you trying to diminish my story
Russell Brand: Right (.) It’s just a type of fish (.) You went near a
fish
Emily: Let me tell my story
Russell Brand: People do that
Emily: (Starts laughing)
Russell Brand: That’s your story (1.0) I was near a fish once

2. Graham: It could’ve eaten her hand (.) It could’ve eaten her hand
*Audience laugh and clap*
Emily: Don’t clap him
Russell Brand: Thank you (.) I love you (.) I’m one of you (.) I’m here for you
Emily: I am just going to sh*t on all of your stories
Graham: (Sipping a glass of wine) Now don’t you have rules for swimming with dolphins
Emily: With dolphins (1.0) I heard you’re not supposed to touch a dolphin unless they come to you
and offer themselves (.) you’re not supposed to touch them
Graham: Why
Emily: Because dolphins mate for life and if you touch one of them the other one can smell your (.)
your touch on them (.) and they think that they’ve cheated on them and you could break up a
dolphin marriage and that is it true that is fact
Russell Brand: I know (.) I’m gonna have to phone up SeaWorld directly
Graham: Emily Blunt (.) Emily Blunt worry not (.) we’re going to big you up now because
Emily: Oh God
Graham: Your new movie 5 Year Engagement (.) out next Friday
Emily: Yes
Graham: Erm (1.0) It’s from the same people who made (.) er Forgetting Sarah Marshall and
Emily: Or that sh*te film Get him
to the Greek
Russell Brand: Oh (1.0) that’s not very nice (.) oh dear oh dear
Emily: I’m just kidding
Graham: But but but so basically it is it is what you think it’s gonna be it’s a romcom
Emily: Yes
Graham: But it’s got big belly laughs (.) big physical laughs (.) big jersey laughs
Emily: Yes yes it has (.) well I hope so anyway
Graham: No it does (.) I’ve seen it

3. Emily: Oh good I’m glad
Graham: Er so it a five year engagement and you obviously play the lady
Emily: Yes I do (laughs)
Graham: Yes
Russell Brand: Stretch was it
*Audience laughs*
Emily: Why are you so against me (1.0) we’ve had nice encounters it’s all going wrong
Russell Brand: You started all this sash stuff didn’t you (.) yeah (.) I do this for a living
*Audience laughs*
Graham: And so it’s you and er Jason Segel
Emily: Yes (.) Yes
Graham: And (.) what’s nice is that you seem like a proper you seem like a nice couple in the film
Emily: Well we’re friends which I think really helps coz we sort of have a shorthand and a natural (.)
warmth I guess with each other (.) and that translates onscreen (.) hopefully
Graham: Well er (.) you say you’re friends but then he wrote this specifically for you didn’t he
Emily: Yes he did yeah
Graham: Is that not a bit creepy
*Audience laughs*
Emily: No I thought it was flattering
Graham: But he wrote lots of kind of sex scenes and kissing scenes in
Emily: (Laughs) But none of them are really sexy (.) I mean there’s like a scene (.)
Graham: There’s a lot of humping
Emily: But none of its like oooh ahhh like oh my God like Emily’s husband must be so threatened (.)
like some of it is really bad (.) it’s like bad sex
Graham: Yeah there is a lot of bad sex in it
Emily: Bad sex
Graham: Yes
