NAPTR records store communications contacts in DNS domains using ordered, typed values. In .tel domains, NAPTRs store phone numbers, email addresses, and other contact methods. They allow structuring contacts and initiating communications by selecting record types. NAPTRs' flexibility means new contact methods can be added as technologies develop, making .tel a long-term communications hub.
The document describes how to view reports on service level agreements (SLAs) using the Unified Monitoring Portal (UMP). It explains that SLAs define the service and objectives between a client and provider. SLA reports show compliance for SLAs and their component service level objectives (SLOs) and quality of service (QoS) objects. The reports can display current or historical compliance data and be saved or printed as a PDF.
Is there a Life after Phone Call Charges? A brief look at some ENUM Opportuni...enumplatform
ENUM Day 2 discusses opportunities for ENUM operators after the decline of phone call charges. It notes that 2008 was called the "year of duck and hide" as countries did not extend their ITU ENUM delegation. However, ENUM can still generate revenue through new solutions like carrier ENUM and VoIP peering federations. The document outlines the evolution of ENUM and its functionalities. It also discusses challenges around migrating costs and business models to new sources of income as phone call revenue decreases.

The document describes the amenities and rooms available at the L'Esperance Hotel located at 4 Tiger Road in Cay Hill, Sint Maarten. The hotel offers a lobby area, honeymoon suite, kitchenette area, two bedroom suite, pool, walkway to the pool area, kitchen, living room, one bedroom suite, and bedroom with a view. Contact information is also provided.
The document summarizes the development of the telegraph network in the Victorian era, known as the "Victorian Internet". Key events included:
1) Cyrus Field spearheaded the laying of the first transatlantic telegraph cable in the 1850s, though it failed initially.
2) By the early 1870s, a global network of undersea cables, land lines, pneumatic tubes, and messengers had emerged to transmit messages worldwide within hours.
3) New technologies like stock tickers and Edison's quadruplex system automated telegraphy but also led to its decline as the telephone became popular in the late 1870s.
VoIP, Portability, and the Evolution of Addressingenumplatform
The document discusses the evolution of routing and addressing as carrier networks move to IP. It proposes using ENUM to map telephone numbers to URIs to unify routing functions and minimize costs. ENUM provides a mapping from E.164 numbers to IP resources through DNS lookups. This allows queries from IP networks to resolve numbers to URIs for routing calls on all-IP networks. The status and alternatives to ENUM are also reviewed.
This document discusses improvements to the ENUM system for mapping telephone numbers to internet addresses. It proposes separating the services available for a domain from the specific URIs, allowing different organizations to maintain URIs. This would enable infrastructure information to be published in ENUM and allow multiple owners of the same record. The document outlines current problems and delegation structures, and notes draft Internet documents proposing changes to ENUM.
The document describes a demonstration of ENUM applications and network capabilities in collaboration with AG Projects. It provides information on ENUM components including applications, clients, and resolvers. It also gives examples of how ENUM can be used including registering a number, populating it with records, and doing lookups. The demonstration showed registering a number, mapping it to SIP, email, location, and doing lookups to see ENUM in action.
From the first public consultation to the national ENUM field trialenumplatform
The document summarizes the history and current status of ENUM trials in Austria. It describes key milestones from the first public consultation in 2001 to the establishment of the Austrian ENUM Trial Platform in 2002. It outlines the roles of industry, government, and regulatory organizations in developing policy frameworks and trial structures. Currently, the trial involves developing ENUM registration and query client software, as well as testing provisioning processes with a limited number of subscribers. The goal is to evaluate ENUM standards and services to inform future commercial implementation.

ENUM is a protocol that maps telephone numbers to internet addresses, allowing phone calls to be delivered over IP networks. It uses DNS to resolve an E.164 number into a URI that can then be used to route the call. There are different approaches to implementing ENUM, including public ENUM controlled by end users, carrier ENUM controlled by operators, and private ENUM used within federations. While ENUM trials have occurred in several countries, it has not seen wide deployment and does not fully address service interconnection challenges around quality of service and protocols.

5. VIABILITY ANALYSIS
8. VIABILITY ANALYSIS
I passaggi chiave dell’analisi
Molto Buono, Buono, Sufficiente o Scarso
Definire, attraverso gli Indicatori, lo stato attuale
degli Attributi Chiave e quello al quale
eventualmente vanno (ri)condotti.
