Esoteric and Liberating Aspect of MarriagePardeep Sehgal
The true nature of soul is transcendental wisdom, peace, contentment, unconditional love and devotion, bliss, forgiveness, inactivity, carefree, compassion, forbearance, discriminative, love and longing for union with the Creator, but we have forgotten it.
All the Scriptures and the Saints advocate marriage as a safe bet for self-realization. A marriage should be on the foundation of Dharma and the other three purposes should be worked towards having Dharma as the base.
Marriage becomes liberating when both husband and wife have a common objective of going within.

Kamya Shraddha is the name given to Tripindi Shraddha. The soul of a dead person whose Shraddha was not performed constantly for three years is classified as Pret (just like a ghost). The day of Pitars is Amavas. Shraddha should be practised on this day. Tripindi should not be performed on Navratri or the day of death in the Krishna fortnight of the month of Bhadrapada.

Broken MIRRORS
“Breaking a Mirror Brings Seven Years Bad luck”.
The superstition regarding breaking mirrors goes back to ancient Rome. The Romans were the first to create glass mirrors. They believed the mirror had the power to confiscate a part of the user’s soul.If a person’s reflected image became distorted in any way this could mean a corruption in his or her soul.
"The true reason that breaking a mirror was 7 years bad luck is because when mirrors were first made they were so expensive that if you broke on you would serve 7 years as an indentured servant to the owner of the mirror because not too many people could afford to buy another one to replace it."
Black CATS Crossing your path
As one version of the belief goes, if a black cat crosses your path, bad luck will befall you.
In ancient Egypt, the Goddess Bast was a black, female cat. Christians, wanting to rid society of all traces of other religions, convinced the ignorant that black cats were demons in disguise and should thus be destroyed. In the process, they also destroyed the kindly women who cared for the cats, believing them to be witches.
Being demons, a black cat crossing your path would create a barrier of evil, cutting you off from God and blocking the entrance to heaven.

Forest Dhamma was the first book published containing English translations of Ajaan Mahā Boowa’s discourses on the practice of Dhamma. In it are presented most of his basic teachings on meditation. The talks in this collection deal with practical aspects of meditation, and particularly with the development of wisdom in the light of fundamental principles of truth.

Marriage ‘Vivah’ is one of the sixteen Samskaras in Hinduism. Samskara means that which purifies. In ancient times they considered marriage as purifying.
Purifying a man and a woman so that they can individually evolve to their best through each other.
The ritual, the process of the marriage ceremony can be purifying if one knows what it really means.
This will help those seekers who seek the highest truth by giving them a vision of how we can be free from our concepts and see divinity within and in the world and realize what great wisdom has been left behind for us by the great Rishis and Masters.
When all the planets are between Rahu and Ketu, Kalsarpa is formed. When all the planets are in the centre of Rahu and Ketu, i.e. in the north and south nodes of the Moon, then Kalsarpa Yog is formed. Full Kalsarpa Yog takes place only when half of the house is emptied by the planets.
Kalsarpa Yog is a terrible yog that can ruin a person's life. The person suffering from this yog lives a miserable life. If he is having serious problems, this yog can erase all the good yog from the table.
According to Vedic astrology, Pitra Dosh occurs when Rahu and Ketu affect the Sun and the Moon. When Rahu and Ketu are in the 6th, 8th or 12th house and are with any planet, Pitru Dosha Yoga is formed. This house is also called the father's house. Pitra Dosh is formed or occurs as a result of a person's bad Karma or a person's failure to follow the concept of Shradh properly. This is not a good symbol for people and is regarded as very unlucky.
A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

• If the astrologer had stayed in the village then he would have carried on
the work of his forefathers that were: tilling the land, living, marrying, and
ripening in his cornfield and ancestral home.
• The astrologer could understand the problem in five minutes. How?
The astrologer had a working analysis of mankind’s troubles such as
marriage, money and the tangles of human ties. However, due to long
practice, his perception of understanding’s people was sharpened.
Hence, within five minutes, the astrologer could understand the problem.
• How could the astrologer tell the person about his life?
Firstly, the astrologer never opened his mouth till the other person had
spoken or at least ten minutes, which provided him enough knowledge
about that person for a dozen answer and advices. Hence, when he would
inform the person that in many ways he was not getting the fullest result
for his efforts or when he questioned anyone about disposition of any
woman from his family or distant relative, people would assume him to be
impulsive and immediately like him.

• What was the load on the astrologer’s mind?
The astrologer had been thinking that all those years, he had the
blood of a man he killed when he was young; which was the
reason why he ran away from his house, got settled, married and
chose the profession of an astrologer, only to find that the man
was still alive.
