This document discusses the author's goal of remolding people's perceptions about mathematics. It outlines topics that will be discussed, including what people commonly think of mathematics, the relationship between imagination and mathematics, mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, the discovery of the square root of 2, the author's own works on mathematics, what mathematics is really about, problems with today's generation, and solutions. Specific examples are given to illustrate the kinship between imagination and mathematics. Ramanujan's achievements are briefly outlined. The discovery of irrational numbers by Hippasus is also mentioned.
