This document outlines 10 classes of milk and their minimum fat and solid-not-fat requirements across different regions of India. Buffalo milk requirements vary by state, with a minimum fat content of 6.0% and solid-not-fat of 9.0% for some states, and lower requirements for others. Cow milk has a uniform requirement of 3.2% minimum fat and 8.3% minimum solid-not-fat across all of India. Requirements are also specified for goat/sheep milk, camel milk, mixed milk, standardized milk, full cream milk, toned milk, double toned milk, and skimmed milk.
