History
Amphetamine was first produced in Germany in 1887.
No medical use was found for it till the late twenties
when it was found that it could help treat asthma, hay
fever and the common cold. During world war 2 over
72 million amphetamine tablets were given to both
sides to keep them awake and alert. Hitler was also
known to have been taking amphetamine by injection.
