3. GENERAL GUIDELINES
1 Regardless of their civil status, youth from the ages of twelve to twenty-five
are eligible to participate.
2 All participants should register and pay the registration fee of PHp 100 upon
arrival.
3 Imports are allowed to participate if and only if they will stay for the whole
duration of the event from acquaintance to awarding night.
4 A competitor is only allowed two entries for each literary, musical, and
sporting event (team events excluded).
5 After winning a game twice, a player is not allowed to enter it a third time
(team events excluded).
6 The decision of the judges is final.
7 Additional guidelines will be provided as needed.
5. BIBLE MEMORY VERSE
MECHANICS
1 There can only be one contender per district.
2 Each contender may recite as many Bible memory verses as he or she can.
3 One Bible verse is equivalent to a single point.
4 It is required of the contender to accurately memorize the Bible’s chapter, verse,
and passage; otherwise, it will not be considered a point.
5 It is required of a contender to speak their Bible memory verses nonstop; if they
run out of verses to recite in 30 seconds, their time to recite will instantly terminate.
6 The last contender has the privilege of only surpassing the total number of Bible
verses spoken by the previous contenders.
6. BIBLE DRILL
MECHANICS
1 There can only be one contender per district.
2 Each contender will be utilizing the same Bibles (Bibles that will be available
for use are King James Versions) to be provided by the management.
3 The Bibles that will be available for use are the King James translations.
4 Using their right hand, the contenders must raise their Bibles up while waiting
for the facilitator to say "Ready, set, go," After it has been said, contenders are
free to open their Bibles and hunt for the Bible verses given.
5 The first contender to locate the Bible chapter and verse will have to stand
and read the passage, pointing with his or her index finger to each word as they
read it.
6 Each and every drill is worth one point.
7. BIBLE SPEED DOWN
MECHANICS
1 There can only be one contender per district.
2 The 66 books of the Bible—from Genesis to Revelations and back to
Genesis—must be memorized by the contestants.
3 The Bible books must be recited in their English translations.
4 There will be an addition of three seconds to a contestant's clock time for
each Bible book that is not recited or skipped.
5 The contender who finishes reciting the Bible books in the shortest amount of
time will be declared the winner.
8. BIBLE QUIZ
MECHANICS
1 There can only be one contender per district.
2 The books of Jonah, Micah, and Obadiah will be used as the reference of the
Bible quiz.
3 Papers with the letters a, b, c, and d inscribed in capital letters will be
distributed to each contender.
4 The quiz consists of an easy, average, and difficult round.
5 Each question will be read twice by the quiz master. Following each round's
allotted answer time, contestants are then permitted to raise their answers.
6. In the case of a tie, clincher questions will be asked until the tie is broken.

9. BIBLE INFORMATION
MECHANICS
1 There can be six to eight contenders per district.
2 The 66 books of the Bible—from Genesis to Revelations—must be studied.
3 The game consists of an easy, average, and difficult round.
4 Every team will get sheets of paper with capital letters written on them. After reading the
question twice and announcing, "Ready, set, go," the players can now start forming their
answers out of the provided jumbled letters. Upon the conclusion of the designated answer
period for each round, participants are allowed to raise their answers.
5 Answers must be in their English spellings.
6 In the case of a tie, clincher questions will be asked until the tie is broken.

10. BIBLE EXHORTATION
MECHANICS
1 There can only be one contender per district.
2 One at a time, each competitor will choose a random a topic from the Bible;
these topics may take the form of a short verse, a parable, a prophecy, a
proverb, a psalm, or a quote from Jesus. The contender will have five minutes
to absorb the topic and organize their thoughts before having another five
minutes to put their ideas into words.
3 They are free to use any language to convey their exhortations.
11. BIBLE DECLAMATION
MECHANICS
1 There can be one contender per district.
2 The contestants will need to recite Psalm 139 from memory in a manner that
represents how they see David speaking those lines to God.
13. SOLO & DUET
MECHANICS
1 Participants may choose any genre of (one) Christian song.
2 Just three to four minutes should be spent singing the song.
3 The contenders may use accompaniment or minus one, which must be ready
or submitted a couple of hours before the competition commends.
14. CHOIR
MECHANICS
1 The choir can have a minimum of ten and a maximum of twenty members,
inclusive of one conductor and one accompanist, if applicable.
2 The duration of the performance must be three to four minutes.
3 Microphone positions can be fixed and moved by the participants in any
manner during the performance.
4 Participating groups must wear appropriate attire fit for the competition’s
purpose.
5 Choreography and hand-held props are allowed but not required.
15. BATTLE OF THE
BANDS
MECHANICS
1 There can be four to seven members per team.
2 Each team may choose any (one) Christian live song.
3 The duration of the performance must be three to five minutes.
4 Each team will be allotted five minutes to get everything ready for their
performance. Microphone and instrument positions can be fixed and moved by
the participants in any manner in preparation for their performance.
16. INTERPRETATIVE
DANCE
MECHANICS
1 This competition is designed for each entry to tell a story revolving around a
song through dancing.
2 Each team must have a minimum of six representatives for the competition.
3 The assigned song, "No longer slaves," is up to each team to interpret.
4 Props and choreography are required.
5 Audio effects are accepted.
6 Participating groups must wear appropriate costumes.
7 Each team will be allotted five minutes to get everything ready for their show.
