The Bhutanese Cordyceps Sinensis is native

Tibetan name for it is “Yartsa Gunbu”, which

that are hibernating 6 inches below soil level

so that when the body of the mushroom is
produced, the stem sprouts through the soil
and extending upwards, releasing spores to
be carried and dispersed by alpine winds.
When the body of the larvae had fully
matured, it was completely replaced by the

Details and findings on Cordyceps research and results
Immune System
Cordyceps stimulates the number of T helper cells, prolongs the survival of lymphocytes, and improves the production of TNF-α and interleukin-1.
"Hunan Medical University" researched on the Cordyceps Sinensis in 1992 to stimulate natural killer cell activity. The researchers found cell culture
and activation of NK (Natural Killer) killer cells in animals. The ability of the body to fight infections and tumors depends on the function of natural
killer cells. The more natural killer cells function, the stronger the body's ability to fight infections and tumors.
Anti-Cancer Research
Studies have shown that Cordyceps Sinensis can significantly enhance the immune system of cancer patients and destroy cancer cells. Cordyceps
promotes the body's immune system and increases the immune system's effectiveness of T and macrophages. Western medicine research showed
that Cordyceps Sinensis enhanced normal NK (natural killer cell) cell activity by 74%, increased leukemia NK activity found in large melanoma
patients, 400% of patients and NK cell activity similar improvement. In a study of 50 lung cancer patients, Cordyceps Sinensis was used in combination
with chemotherapy to successfully reduce tumors in 46% of patients.
Liver protection
The protective nature of Cordyceps Sinensis was confirmed towards liver protection. Studies in liver biopsy hepatitis and cirrhosis confirmed that liver
function improved significantly after taking Cordyceps sinensis. "Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine" researchers pointed out the
use of Cordyceps Sinensis on the application of liver fibrosis. Cordyceps can help heal hepatitis B by increasing serum gamma globulin levels and
boosting the immune system. Study on Cordyceps Sinensis in 33 Hepatitis B Patients and 8 Hardened Patients Clinical studies have shown a 71.9%
improvement in thyme turbidity detection and a 78.6% improvement in SGPT. Other studies of 22 patients with Post Hepatitic Cirrhosis showed that
liver function was significantly improved by taking 6-9 grams of Cordyceps sinensis daily at three months.
Kidney Protection
A study of patients with kidney diseases suffering from a blood pressure disorder showed a 15% drop in blood pressure after one month of Cordyceps
treatment. In addition, they noticed an increase in superoxide dismutase, which together with lipid peroxidase serum had been reduced, offsetting the
properties of free radicals and reaching renal cell protection. Professor Li Shuoshen found that Cordyceps can prevent kidney damage caused by
antibiotics and other therapeutic drugs, while not reducing the role of antibiotics. Other clinical studies in 57 gentamicin-induced renal injury patients,
taking 4.5g Cordyceps daily with the treatment. Six days after taking Cordyceps sinensis, the recovery rate of renal function was 89%. The recovery
rate of patients who did not take Cordyceps Sinensis was only 45%.
Prevention of heart disease
Studies have shown that Cordyceps Sinensis has few side effects on the formation of oxidative stress-induced atherosclerotic lesions in white mouse
studies. Cordyceps enhance blood circulation, but also increase the supply of blood and oxygen to the brain. In 1994, 38 elderly patients with
arrhythmias were tested in a clinical trial. The patients received cordyceps sinensis for 3 months (3g / day); the success rate of ventricular arrhythmia
was 80%, the success rate of supraventricular arrhythmias was 83%, the effect is very significant.
