toughness. Shells of Lifting Magnets are made from high permeability Steel Casting
as per IS: 449 (BSS- 1617), properly machined, to provide the most efficient Magnetic circuit.

18. Rectangular Lifting Magnets
 The exciter coil, wound with aluminum conductor using high grade insulating
materials, is secured in the housing with a special resin compound of
excellent heat conductivity.
 The connection of the feed-in cable is covered under a tilting steel hold, either
by means of a terminal box divided into coil section and connection section or
by means of a plug-in set.
