department as a HR Manager.
The HR Manager is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to our
Amazon Fulfillment Centers. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer
support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. Successful candidates will demonstrate:
ā€¢ The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect
continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company
ā€¢ A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high
level of employee engagement
ā€¢ Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment
ā€¢ Coaching and mentoring at management level
ā€¢ Success in creating and driving effective development, employee relations, retention and reward programs
ā€¢ Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
ā€¢ A completed Bachelorā€™s Degree from an accredited university or 2+ years Amazon experience
ā€¢ Resume that shows steady progression in HR Management for the last 5+ years
ā€¢ Prior experience leading, coaching, and mentoring direct reports.
ā€¢ 5+ years experience in Fortune 500 company(s).
ā€¢ Prior experience supporting hourly employee client groups (distribution, manufacturing, or call center environments).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
ā€¢ Ability to diagnose problems and identify and drive appropriate solutions
ā€¢ Excellent communication skills
ā€¢ Influencing skills and interfacing with senior members of the business
ā€¢ Ability to function in a fast paced and innovative environment
ā€¢ Masterā€™s degree or MBA in a Human Resources discipline preferred

Our Shift Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations of delivery stations in the Amazon network,
including inbound, outbound, and sortation operations. They will actively engage with site and regional operations

identify ways to improve our operations.
Key Job Duties
Ā· Oversee the delivery of Amazon orders to customers
Ā· Build, optimize, and assign delivery routes on your shift
Ā· Communicate with and respond to Amazon Customer Service associates on delivery exceptions and requests
Ā· Support Amazon operations leadership team in daily operations management of the delivery station, including route
assignment, leading meetings, and communicating with internal and external suppliers.
Ā· Troubleshoot problems through to resolution, escalating as necessary
Ā· Provide vacation coverage for other managers
Ā· Review and update SOPs as required
Ā· Participate in Lean/Kaizen, Black Belt, and other Operational Excellence initiatives
ā€¢ Ensure compliance throughout the site to global process standards and work on continuous improvement init iatives

ā€¢ Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
ā€¢ Must be willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach

Job Description
The Operations Manager has complete responsibility for inbound operations, outbound operations or a functional
process responsibility within the operation on a specified shift or across multiple shifts.
Responsibilities:
ā€¢ Lead and supervise a team of Shift Managers (2-5 front-line supervisors depending on location) and associates in
outbound or inbound operations.
ā€¢ Responsible for the overall safety, quality, performance and customer experience of the shift.
ā€¢ Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizationā€™s policies and procedures.
ā€¢ Accountability for meeting and exceeding operational goals.
ā€¢ Strategic planning and forecasting; appraise performance; resolve problems; and address staffing needs.
ā€¢ Mentor, train and develop teammates for career progression and learning
ā€¢ Ability to develop and share best practices across the shifts and network.

The HR Manager is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to our Amazon Fulfillment Centers. On its busiest day, Cyber Monday, Amazon customers around the world have ordered more than 400 items per second and the transportation teams play a critical role ensuring packages make it to customersā€™ doors on-time and in great condition. Our Shift Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations of delivery stations in the Amazon network, including inbound, outbound, and sortation operations. They will actively engage with site and regional operations leadership to implement new operational improvements and new services. Key Job Duties Ā· Oversee the delivery of Amazon orders to customers Ā· Build, optimize, and assign delivery routes on your shift Ā· Communicate with and respond to Amazon Customer Service associates on delivery exceptions and requests Ā· Support Amazon operations leadership team in daily operations management of the delivery station, including route assignment, leading meetings, and communicating with internal and external suppliers.
