 2010: Ideated investing in Baidu and shorting Google following Google’s announcement to exit
China in 2010. Investment would have returned north of 100% returns in a year.
 2011: Ideated investing in Netflix following the market’s over-shorting of Netflix when it announced
to split apart the company into 2 as really this was a forward-thinking decision that the DVD
business would be discontinued and streaming was the future.
Actual Investments
 2013: Invested in Tesla on September 6, 2013 early-stage upon it going public. Knew that the
company had extreme potential.
 2020: Initiated position in Shopify at $1057.53 per share and earned 34.6% returns in 3 months.
Knew that the company would benefit extremely during a pandemic economy.
 2020: Initiated position in Zoom Video Communications at $207.86 per share in June 2020 and
earned 170.7% returns in 3 months. Knew that the company would benefit extremely during a
pandemic economy.
 2021: Initiated position in TuSimple Holdings & earned returns of 15.97% returns on day 1 of the
investment and day 2 performance of 8.04%

Actual Investments  2013: Invested in Tesla on September 6, 2013 early-stage upon it going public. Knew that the company had extreme potential.  2020: Initiated position in Shopify at $1057.53 per share and earned 34.6% returns in 3 months. Knew that the company would benefit extremely during a pandemic economy.  2020: Initiated position in Zoom Video Communications at $207.86 per share in June 2020 and earned 170.7% returns in 3 months. Knew that the company would benefit extremely during a pandemic economy.  2021: Initiated position in TuSimple Holdings & earned returns of 15.97% returns on day 1 of the investment and day 2 performance of 8.04%
