A layman philosophical discussion on whether the modern man has been apathetic enough to be qualified as a robot

2.  Let’s define the modern man:
 A man born/raised/living in this modern era
of technological advances
is the modern man.

3. LIFE
Sleep
Eat
Work
Earn

4.  He’s a man who’s told he doesn’t need to
seek the truth for himself anymore.
 He’s a man who believes everything he’s told
simply because he was never taught how to
question it.

5.  He gets live coverage
of the people suffering
in downtrodden areas.
› But he goes to
McDonald’s anyways.

6.  He likes to be social.
› But only through social
media.
 His words reach millions
through his phone.
› But his life is empty.

7.  He has so many friends.
› But he knows none will listen to him if he is
breaking apart.

8.  He falls in love a lot.
› But his heart has never
felt the gently kiss of the
breeze.
 He held his lover in his arms.
› But then he held the other lover
as well.

9.  He smiles a lot.
› But he doesn’t know what happiness feels like.
 He drowns himself in loud music and people.
› But he doesn’t know this fun is not happiness. It
is just lack of sadness.

10.  He’s a man who doesn’t care because he
doesn’t know how to.
 He’s a lonely man who envies the dead more
than the living…

11.  He just works away his life to earn money
› For a life he doesn’t even live…

12.  A machine capable of carrying out a complex
series of actions automatically, especially
one programmable by a computer.

13.  Incapable of emotions.
 Void of identity.
 Doesn’t question.
 Easily programmable.
 Follows instructions.

14.  The modern man is indeed a robot;
programmed for apathy, destined for
agony…
