What you can look forward too
Hers’s where altus clients are
Let’s begin with some obvious cold, hard facts. Upgrades are a fact of life. The new average is every 3.2 years, and we’re working towards that with our customers. Since inception our average was 5.3 years. We’re changing this now with the increasing adoption of our Evergreen plan, which we’ll discuss further in a moment.
-Highlight new technology even these attendees might not know about that would directly benefit them
Anecdote about a customer who waited too long to upgrade
Based on new research from the Aberdeen group who studied 145 small-medium enterprises (>500 M in annual; rev.)
They found that there was a group of leading SMEs, and more than half of them were on the most current version of their ERP.
Organizations rely on their ERP solution to support them, and this can lead to a longer lifecycle for that software than need be. But nowadays technology is changing quickly, and you want to be able to take advantage of new functionality –don’t be left behind as a result of organizational reluctance to change. An updated solution brings many benefits; mobile compatibility, increased integration, workflows…
The benefit won’t be to just the people using the technology –it’s organization wide!
Upgrading NAV –especially if you’re not on the latest release- can require a lot of time for planning, making a case for the cost, and training your staff on new functionality. All of those painful aspects of an upgrade can lead to dreading the thought of changing your ERP system at all.
Tell me about some of your upgrade experiences?
Cloud:
Private Hosted model?
Drastically simplifies infrastructure care and maintenance. Very secure and privacy is ensured. Expense can be a consideration.
Public Cloud?
Drastically simplifies infrastructure care and maintenance. Extremely secure and privacy can be ensured by storing data in European Data Centre (Ireland) where privacy restrictions align well to Canadian requirements. Drastically less expensive than the Private Hosted Model.
