In Spain, All Saints' Day is celebrated on November 1st. While trick-or-treating has been imported from the US in recent years, traditional celebrations included lighting bonfires and telling scary stories, visiting family gravesites and cleaning tombs, and making offerings of chestnuts and marzipan-filled pastry called "Saints' bones". However, some Spanish traditions are being replaced by American-style Halloween celebrations.
