It’s the birth of something new in the human mind.
It’s the switch from uninformed to I understand.
An epiphany cannot be given; it can only be experienced.
Stories create an environment for epiphanies to take root.
Novels, games, films, campfires: All of these storytelling methods can
do the same. However, we use video because of it’s brevity, consistency,
and shareability, Video can use words, images, and audio together,
and it’s the same message each time you watch it.
Otherwise, we would use campfires, clearly.
WHY VIDEO?
People want it. And it works.
Good video content has the potential to remove customer’s barriers and
defenses by being entertaining. It’s a natural teaching platform
because of it’s combination of audio and visual communication.
But, really, it’s a self-contained, shareable, nothing-gets-lost-in-translation
medium for explanation and insight.

WE HAVE A METHOD OF EPIPHANIZING
Making the video itself is actually the last step in our process,
not the entire process. The video that the world sees is the outcome
of strategy, discovery, development, and production.
And yes, we recognize that “epiphanizing” is not a real word.

WE HAVE A PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION
Once the strategy is in place, and we know what our goals are,
we start our production process.
First we discover who you are, what you do, and most importantly,
why you matter. We also get to know you as a person and introduce you
to your Epipheo team. This experience is called kick-off.
Then, our 3-stage process begins.

No matter how good...
We start out seeing an agent holding a “for sale” sign in front of a house.
or good-looking an agent you are...
He then looks at himself in a mirror and his reflection winks back at him and points at him,
as if to say, “you’re the man!”
you can’t sell a house unless you find a buyer.
Zoom out to see prospective buyers walking down the street.
So you try to get their attention. Ads. Signs. Listings. All kinds of realty jazz.

And you need them all because each one can fall short.
Split screen again showing each ad failing. Person walks away from “for sale” sign,
newspaper turns to the sports section, and the computer screen switches to Facebook.
Catch a buyer’s eye with a house sign? What if he can’t find his way to the listing online?
Person in front of house can’t find the listing on their phone.
Or he wanders onto another realty site and winds up in another agent’s arms.
An agent is standing with a prospective buyer when another agent comes into screen and
swipes him away.
And for all those ads you have in papers and online, it’s anyone’s guess as to which ones actually
get buyers’ interest.

This deliverable serves as the foundation of your story—
the framework of your video—and we call it The Story Plan.

Now that we’ve unearthed the epiphany and the story, we write the script,
create a style to match, make decisions for sound design, and deliver an
Animatic. The Animatic is sequential sketches set to the timing of the script.
No surprises. We put all this into a deliverable we call The Production Plan.

All the planning and timing work is done, expectations have
been set, and we combine all the elements into a finished
video. We also send along a strategy packet that can help
you communicate your epiphany beyond the final video.

Every project timeline is unique. Sometimes we operate based
on your specific deadline, and sometimes we base our due date
on making sure we get the right team. No two projects are the same,

STORY LEAD
The Story Lead dives deep into who you are, what you
do, and how you do it, and ensures that your epiphany
is not lost throughout the production of your video.
They are skilled at making the complex, simple.
They are passionate about good communication.
Pictured: a real, live, Story Lead. We call her Nicole. Because that’s her real name.
DESIGN LEAD
The Design Lead works closely with the Story Lead
to ensure top-notch visual storytelling and quality
creative artistry. They are responsible for the timing,
the pace, and the style of your video. Their vision is
what helps make your video a video worth sharing.
Not a hired actor. She’s one of our Design Leads. Her name is Diana.
PRODUCER
The Producer makes sure the right things happen
at the right time and that the right person have the
right stuff to make the right decision. They protect
the relationship between time and budget. If some-
thing goes wrong, they take care of it, and if some-
thing goes right, it’s because they made it happen.
This is what a producer named Josh looks like. Classy, right?
DESIGNERS
Our team of illustrators, animators, editors, sound
designers, composers, and writers are constantly
pushing and innovating in their craft to effectively
translate your epiphany. They are experts in their
fields, and work together to ensure there are no lost
opportunities to bring excellence to your video.
This is Chase. He’s an amazing Illustrator and overall righteous dude.

STORY PLAN
After our kick-off and team brainstorming sessions, we compile a pitch
with a supporting document that serves as the compass for the video.
It’s a resource that you get to keep, and apply elsewhere.
PRODUCTION PLAN
During the production, we give you a full road-map of the creative choices
we make and the reasons we make them. This packet of information contains
the animatic, visual design choices, and sound design recommendations.
STORY STRATEGY
When we deliver the final video to you, we also capture all the additional ideas
and dreams the team had as well as unique storytelling and positioning strategies
based on your epiphany. This comes in handy later on when you need to
communicate your epiphany in other ways, as part of your additional marketing.
TRUTH, STORY, LOVE.

  • 2. EPIPHANY + VIDEO = EPIPHEO EPIPHANY VIDEO It’s the birth of something new in the human mind. It’s the switch from uninformed to I understand. An epiphany cannot be given; it can only be experienced. Stories create an environment for epiphanies to take root. Novels, games, films, campfires: All of these storytelling methods can do the same. However, we use video because of it’s brevity, consistency, and shareability, Video can use words, images, and audio together, and it’s the same message each time you watch it. Otherwise, we would use campfires, clearly.
  • 3. WHY VIDEO? People want it. And it works. Good video content has the potential to remove customer’s barriers and defenses by being entertaining. It’s a natural teaching platform because of it’s combination of audio and visual communication. But, really, it’s a self-contained, shareable, nothing-gets-lost-in-translation medium for explanation and insight.
  • 4. WHY WE MAKE VIDEOS THE WAY WE MAKE VIDEOS of all U.S. adults are more likely to buy after watching a video that explains the product or service. Animoto 73% of all shared video content is described as funny or humorous. Your personal sense of humor may vary. Animoto 94%83% of viewers prefer videos to be 5 minutes or less.   • 5. WE HAVE A METHOD OF EPIPHANIZING Making the video itself is actually the last step in our process, not the entire process. The video that the world sees is the outcome of strategy, discovery, development, and production. And yes, we recognize that “epiphanizing” is not a real word.
  • 10. WE HAVE A PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION Once the strategy is in place, and we know what our goals are, we start our production process. First we discover who you are, what you do, and most importantly, why you matter. We also get to know you as a person and introduce you to your Epipheo team. This experience is called kick-off. Then, our 3-stage process begins.

He then looks at himself in a mirror and his reflection winks back at him and points at him, as if to say, “you’re the man!” you can’t sell a house unless you find a buyer. Zoom out to see prospective buyers walking down the street. So you try to get their attention. Ads. Signs. Listings. All kinds of realty jazz. Catch a buyer’s eye with a house sign? What if he can’t find his way to the listing online? Person in front of house can’t find the listing on their phone. Or he wanders onto another realty site and winds up in another agent’s arms. An agent is standing with a prospective buyer when another agent comes into screen and swipes him away. And for all those ads you have in papers and online, it’s anyone’s guess as to which ones actually get buyers’ interest.   • 18. DESIGN LEAD The Design Lead works closely with the Story Lead to ensure top-notch visual storytelling and quality creative artistry. They are responsible for the timing, the pace, and the style of your video. Their vision is what helps make your video a video worth sharing. Not a hired actor. She’s one of our Design Leads. Her name is Diana.
  • 19. PRODUCER The Producer makes sure the right things happen at the right time and that the right person have the right stuff to make the right decision. They protect the relationship between time and budget. If some- thing goes wrong, they take care of it, and if some- thing goes right, it’s because they made it happen. This is what a producer named Josh looks like. Classy, right?
  • 20. DESIGNERS Our team of illustrators, animators, editors, sound designers, composers, and writers are constantly pushing and innovating in their craft to effectively translate your epiphany. They are experts in their fields, and work together to ensure there are no lost opportunities to bring excellence to your video. This is Chase. He’s an amazing Illustrator and overall righteous dude.
  • 21. TAKE THIS STUFF WITH YOU We make videos. It’s what we do. We have a unique and special process and collection of people that you get to benefit from, sure, but yes, we’ll let you keep the video. You'll also find value in the rest of the party favors.
  • 22. STORY PLAN After our kick-off and team brainstorming sessions, we compile a pitch with a supporting document that serves as the compass for the video. It’s a resource that you get to keep, and apply elsewhere.
  • 23. PRODUCTION PLAN During the production, we give you a full road-map of the creative choices we make and the reasons we make them. This packet of information contains the animatic, visual design choices, and sound design recommendations.
  • 24. STORY STRATEGY When we deliver the final video to you, we also capture all the additional ideas and dreams the team had as well as unique storytelling and positioning strategies based on your epiphany. This comes in handy later on when you need to communicate your epiphany in other ways, as part of your additional marketing.
