I'm writing about the similarities and differences about a book called Holes
which is by Louis Sachar. The thing I'm comparing the book to is the film Holes.

3. SimilaritiesThe Yellow Spotted Lizards didn't bite Stanley and Zero because they ate onions.
Zero vomited while he was climbing up the mountain. The flash backs are the same.
The characters had the same names as in the book. They're both set in Texas (USA).

Stanley isn't fat in the movie but is described as being fat in the book. In the film
Stanley just found the water where as in the book he had to dig. In the book
there was a suitcase but in the movie there was a chest.

I like that the book made you imagine what the characters looked and
sounded like. I disliked the book because it never got really exciting.
