Alex spent their winter break traveling around Japan. They visited several major cities including Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. The trip was an amazing cultural experience where Alex was able to experience Japanese traditions and sample local cuisine.

Alex spent the weekend visiting his friend Tobi. They went to the park on Saturday and played basketball all afternoon. On Sunday, Alex and Tobi went to the movies and had dinner together before Alex went home in the evening.

Alex and Elad met up to discuss their plans for the weekend. They debated whether to go hiking in the mountains or spend the day at an amusement park. In the end, they decided a day at the amusement park would be more fun since the weather was supposed to be nice and sunny.
Water Compass- Tobi, Tom, Kevin
The students describe how to make a water compass by magnetizing a needle and attaching it to styrofoam that floats in a bowl of water. They predicted the needle would be too heavy to float but found it worked as well as a regular pocket compass. Their conclusion is that a homemade water compass is possible and as effective as a store-bought compass, allowing detection of magnetic fields.
Water Compass- Ria, Liaba

While electricity did not move the filings in a circuit as predicted, magnets were able to demonstrate magnetic fields by arranging the filings.

This study examines the profound emotional, psychological, and professional impacts on students engaged in pro-Palestine protests, focusing on Generation Z's (Gen-Z) activism dynamics. This paper explores the significant sacrifices made by these students and even the professors supporting the pro-Palestine movement, with a focus on recent global movements. Through an in-depth analysis of printed and electronic media, the study examines the impacts of these sacrifices on the academic and personal lives of those involved. The paper highlights examples from various universities, demonstrating student activism's long-term and short-term effects, including disciplinary actions, social backlash, and career implications. The researchers also explore the broader implications of student sacrifices. The findings reveal that these sacrifices are driven by a profound commitment to justice and human rights, and are influenced by the increasing availability of information, peer interactions, and personal convictions.
