Medical personnel must be trained to successfully
resuscitate children in extremely stressful and chaotic
environments
It is challenging to train medical students and other
types of trainees in resuscitative medicine on real live
children
Currently there are two main types of simulation
being used to train, teach, practice, and test medical
trainees and professionals
