Form and function
Made by incorporating an ethylene propylene
rubber into a polypropylene matrix, Firestone
UltraPly TPO is a flexible thermoplastic polyolefin
(TPO) roofing membrane produced with a
polyester weft-inserted reinforcement. The scrim-
reinforced membrane combines the weathering
characteristics of rubber with the heat weldability
of a thermoplastic to form a flexible sheet with
excellent lay-flat characteristics.

Firestone UltraPly TPO membrane contains no
plasticizers or logen flame retardants, resulting in
outstanding esistance to degradation from ultraviolet
(UV) radiation and ozone. The scrim-reinforced
membranes provide long-lasting performance with
enhanced puncture, tear and abrasion resistance, and
guard against erosion from harmful rooftop chemicals
and microbial growth.
Enhanced Energy Efficiency
Reflecting sunlight before it can be absorbed and
converted nto heat energy, Firestone UltraPlyTPO’s
light-colored face improves the energy efficiency of the
building. The white membrane satisfies EPA’s ENERGY
STAR®
requirements and can be used to gain LEED®
certification credits.
