Cloud occlusion is common in RS images.
Haze occlusion is more common than cloud but
not easy to detect.
Problems: Cannot see the ground activity. Problems: Cannot see the true ground
reflectance. E.g., NDVI for growth monitoring.

  • 18. Cloud and Haze Occlusion in RS Images 18 Cloud occlusion is common in RS images. Haze occlusion is more common than cloud but not easy to detect. Problems: Cannot see the ground activity.
