Economic Development of Pakistan
• Agriculture contributes alot in the annual
production (GDP) in the economy of Pakistan.
• Pakistan earns foreign exchange by exporting
some agricultural products wheat, rice, cotton etc.
• To sustain massive population agriculture is
playing a key role.
• Agriculture is helping many industries in Pakistan
by providing raw material to these industries.
• Agriculture helps the government by increasing its
tax revenue.

Reference of Green Revolution (1958-1969)
• The Green Revolution of the mid-1960s, which brought
increases in food production and rural incomes and the
sustainable modernization of agriculture.

great extent during Ayub Khan era.
• As a result of land reforms introduced by Ayub more
then four million acres of land was released for public
aquisition.
