Beginner/Entry-Level Agile Interview questions and Answers
1. Explain agile methodology.
Agile methodology is a software development paradigm that emphasizes iterative and incremental development. The agile strategy is based on delivering a product in tiny operational increments or builds. Every program built is a better and more advanced version of the previous one. The development team and stakeholders are constantly collaborating on enhancements and changes in requirements.
Alternatively, we can describe the agile approach as the process of continuously providing functioning software while maintaining regular communication with stakeholders in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
2. How many types of Agile Methodologies are there? Enumerate them.
Agile Methodologies are classified into seven different types. They are:
• Scrum
• Kanban
• Extreme Programming
• Feature-Driven Development (FDD)
• Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM)
• Lean
• Crystal
3. What are the merits and demerits of the agile technique?
The following are some of the most noteworthy benefits of the agile methodology:
• Agile software development is one of the quickest and most flexible methodologies available.
• During the development phase, customers might adjust their needs at any time.
• It largely focuses on the software product's regular release. As a result, clients have the opportunity to see the product in its early stages of development.
• Customers have the option of providing comments on any working deliverable they receive.
• Because the development team focuses on creating a product that matches the customer's needs, this strategy ensures customer happiness.
• It focuses mostly on the product's good design.
Agile Unified Process (AUP) is based on Rational Unified Process (RUP). AUP uses an agile approach which focuses on both the larger life-cycle and the iterations within each step to deliver incremental releases over time.
Learn about Agile Methodology of Software Engineering and study concepts like What is Agile, Why Agile is there, Agile Principles, Agile Manifesto with Pros & Cons of it.
Presentation also include Agile Testing Methodology like Scrum, Crystal Methodologies, DSDM, Feature Driven Development, Lean Software Development & Extreme Programming.

The Art Pastor's Guide to Sabbath | Steve ThomasonSteve Thomason
What is the purpose of the Sabbath Law in the Torah. It is interesting to compare how the context of the law shifts from Exodus to Deuteronomy. Who gets to rest, and why?
This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
2. Agile
Birth of Agile:
• Particularly in 1990s, some developers reacted against traditional “heavyweight”
software development methodologies
• New approaches were being developed and tested, e.g. XP, FDD
• Generally termed “light” processes
• “Representatives” from several of these approaches got together in Utah in 2001
• Settled on term “Agile”
• Called themselves the “Agile Alliance”
• Developed a “manifesto” and a statement of “principles”
3. Agile
Birth of Agile:
• Agile isn’t a set of tools or a single methodology, but a philosophy put to paper in
2001 with an initial 17 signatories
• Agile was a significant departure from the heavyweight document-driven software
development methodologies
• These new methods attempt a useful compromise between no process and too
much process, providing just enough process to gain a reasonable payoff

• XP includes some management elements but emphasizes technical practices more

• In XP, the “Customer” works very closely with the development team to define and
prioritize granular units of functionality referred to as "User Stories"
• The development team estimates, plans, and delivers user stories in the form of
working, tested software on an iteration by iteration basis (typically every 1-3 weeks)

43. Agile
Kanban:
• 3 basic practices:
• Visualize what you do today (workflow): seeing all the items in context of each other
can be very informative
• Limit the amount of work in progress (WIP): this helps balancing the flow-based
approach so teams don’t start and commit to too much work at once
• Enhance flow: when something is finished, the next highest thing from the backlog is
pulled into play
