• No investments or modifications are needed for the existing x-ray device
IMPROVED IMAGE QUALITY AND LOWER DOSE
• DR panels based on Cesium Iodide scintillator type allow sharper images and a
significant reduction of dose up to 50% vs analog/CR system
WIDER DYNAMIC RANGE
• Great exposure latitude with capability to enhance either high or low contrast areas an
image . With Film/Screen systems you get one or the other, not both.
• This helps also to minimise retakes and the associated costs of scrap films, chemistry and
labour
INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY AND OPTIMIZATION OF SPACE
• Only 6 sec are needed for the DR image acquisition. DR workflow completes the exam in
about 5-7 min. vs 10-12 min./patient required by the CR and 20-25 min required by Analog
workflows. This means the number of exams/day can significantly increase up to 3
times vs the workflow with Analog or CR cassettes. Those translates into:
– Productivity Gain → more patients, lower headcounts, higher utilization of fixed assets
