GRANT APPLICATION FROM THE ECU FOR 2014, 2015, 2016
REQUEST FROM FRENCH CHIROPRACTIC ASSOCIATION

Communication plan over 3 years.
2014 : Promote the profession

Install the concept : explain, educate them on benefits

2015 : To value the profession

Support the concept : promoting chiropratic

2016 : Establish the profession

Reinforce the concept : to value the appointment of new patients by those who already are.

Synthesis of visibility in 2014
Digitale communication agency determined several communication channels to 2013, broken down
as follow :
WEB : Brodcast videos on Facebook, Youtube TV, AFC site.
PHARMACIES : Spots on giant screen in pharmacies.
MEDIA : Presence in the mainstream press by insisting on a female target.
STREET MERKETING : Distribution of information leaflets by hostesses in several cities in France.
Creating a video in October 2013 to present Chiropractic and answer several questions :





What is Chiropractic ?
For whom ?
Why ?
How ?

Creating a mascot in which the public (adults and children) will identify the profession. This mascot
can be declined as products (T-shirt, Stuffed animals, balloons) that can be given to patients or
distributed during communication operations (street marketing). This mascot could be taken by the
various countries members of the ECU.
Some proposals of mascot’s and name’s have been made to us. One has retained our attention and
will be presented at the AG.
Synthesis of visibility in 2015 and 2016.
WEB : Brodcast videos on facebook, youtube TV, AFC site
MEDIA : Broadcast spots on Franch TV and some internet sites about health and recognized by the
general public.
STREET MARKETING : Car with adhesive stickers with the color of the AFC in several cities in France
and distribution of information brochures by hostesses.
The amount of this communication plan is 100 000 € per year for 3 years.
Faced with fierce competition and the high number of osteopaths in France (20 000 against 700
chiropractors), the projection to have 60 000 osteopaths in France in 10 years, the AFC in the interest
of promoting the profession and defend the interest of French chiropractors members, is requesting
assistance from the ECU in the amount of 50 000 euros per year for 3 years.
