AEWIN Launches 2U Rack-mount Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 Series Network Security Appliance
AEWIN announces a high performance network service appliance, the SCB-9650 2U rack-mount networking platform with
Intel® Patsburg C604 PCH chipset that supports DDR3 1600/1866 MHz DIMM sockets up to 128GB. The SCB-9650 is
designed with LGA2011 sockets incorporating dual processors capable of utilizing CPUs from two scalable Xeon E5-2600
Series to high performance Intel® Sandy Bridge-EP / Ivy Bridge-EP. Connected via two Intel® QuickPath Interconnects it
enables the SCB-9650 to run up to 8.0GT/s speeds. Equipped with an optional Max 64 GbE copper ports or fiber ports of
fiber-optic LAN connectivity, the SCB-9650 is capable of providing the highest flexibility.
In order to provide the best network performance and utilization, the SCB-9650 comes with integrated graphics, IPMI memory
controller and powerful storage interfaces including one 3.5" hard disks or solid state drives, one 3.5" SATA HDD, one
CompactFlash™ type 2. Also supporting either one PCIe x8 slot, the SCB-9650 platform can offer different types of expansion
module such as 10Gigabit SFP+, Gigabit copper with by-pass function and Gigabit fiber ports.
