College level research requires more advanced skills than public libraries and requires adapting research methods. Students will encounter a more complex library classification system, need passwords for databases, and have unfiltered access to resources. College libraries offer books, ebooks, reference librarians, and other resources to support the research process. It is important for students to manage their time wisely, follow course syllabi, use library guides and tools, document sources, and ask for help to complete assignments successfully.
